LeBron James’ “I Promise” School officially opens it’s doors

LeBron James, the GOAT, has opened a school for over 200 at risk children in the Akron, Ohio area. This school not only provides a free education for 3rd and 4th graders, it also will provide each student with the following: free uniforms, free breakfast, lunch and snacks, free transportation within 2 miles, a free bicycle and helmet, access to a food pantry for their family, guaranteed tuition for all graduates to the University of Akron. As of right now the school is only 3rd and 4th grade, but it will eventually expand to 1st through 8th grade. The parents of these children will also get help in receiving their GEDs, and will be placed in job placement services. LeBron’s name on this school will give the children within the school extra motivation to try their hardest and #StriveForGreatness.

This is one of the many reasons LeBron is #MoreThanAnAthlete and he should NOT just #ShutUpAndDribble. He is making the world a better place and providing for the less fortunate.
