Darrelle Revis Announces Retirement

Today, one of the best lockdown cornerbacks, Darrell Revis, has announced his retirement at the age of 33.

This 7x pro bowler had played for 11 years, 8 with the Jets. He was named a First-Team All Pro 4 times in his career with his most impressive year being in 2014, where he won a Super Bowl with the New England Patriots.

For his career, he had defended 140 passes, 29 interceptions, 411 tackles, 4 forced fumbles, 12 fumble recoveries, and 3 touchdowns. Revis gave his spot on the field the nickname of “Revis Island” due to his lockdown ability on the opposing teams receivers.
