“Cats Win!” Villanova secures 2nd title in three years

The Villanova Wildcats are National Champions again! For the third time in program history and second time in three years the Wildcats will bring the National Title back to the Main Line.

All of the Jay Wright criticisms can finally be put to bed. He has really made this program his own and it’s not going anywhere any time soon. The Cats will only lose Mikal Bridges and Jalen Brunson to the NBA. Every other key contributor will be back as well as a recruitment class highlighted by 5-Star point guard Jahvon Quinerly.

Villanova was led by a career high 31 points on 10-15 shooting by RS Sophomore Donte DiVincenzo. That’s what makes this ‘Nova team so damn good. They have four guys who can score 20+  any night in Mikal Bridges, Jalen Brunson, Omari Spellman and DiVincenzo. I’ve been saying to people that this team is better than that 2016 championship team. It showed. They toyed with any opponent placed in front of them.

Let’s celebrate, Nova fans. I know I will. The parade’s location and time will be announced later.
